Centre Information
Members come as far as Hull, Boston and parts of Nottinghamshire to use the facilities. In 1997 we were able to move from our original Centre, which was a small industrial estate to an old refurbished church hall, which enabled us to offer our members a better quality of care.
We are now able to offer our members spacious and comfortable surroundings where they can come for their therapies.
We are totally self-funded, we receive no funding from any external source i.e. Social Services or NHS. We have received a grant from the National Lottery Charities Board, which provided an additional Hyperbaric Oxygen Tank, Stair Lift and Minibus.
The refurbishment of the church hall was through self-help, donation in kind from various businesses and a grant from English Partnerships. The Yorkshire Television programme Action Time played a big part in the refurbishment.
The centre is a member of The Federation of Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centres
http://www.ms-selfhelp.org/ .The Centre is based on the St Giles estate at 50 Outer Circle Drive and is open from 9.00 am to 4.30pm.
